Tribute to Terry Welsh and his AFA vision...

Most clients would claim that the financial planning process should be unique and tailored specifically for them.  Yet, many times advisors take a cookie-cutter approach using templates to fit clients into a box.  The results of a one-size-fits-all method is much less successful in developing long lasting relationships.  Nobody knew this better than the late Terry Welsh, the former owner and principal of Alaska Financial Associates.  His unique style included wellness checks, life and health planning, and a holistic focus.  While investments, tax, and insurance were the financial topics Terry advised on, he also helped coach clients through many other decisions as they were experiencing them.

While Terry is no longer with us, we at Beacon Capital Advisory Group will continue to carry his torch by building and strengthening client relationships in a comprehensive manner.  We have gleaned many wonderful ideas from his practice.  Starting with his longtime assistant Deb Krehmeier and throughout the rest of the team, we know that the pillars for much of our success started with Terry and we will continue to pay it forward.  The AFA logo and name may be retired, but his approach to life and his profession as a financial advisor will continue to ring true through our work here at Beacon Capital Advisory Group.
